I'm not sure my answer really constitutes a "No" vote, but I'd like to reply anyways. I DO check this forum daily, but I do not post every other day. I've never been a big fan of forum spam, and don't feel the need to post on every topic I can offer nothing on. Knowing that I don't post uselessly, does it necessarily make me inactive if I do not post every other day, but do check every single day?

Obviously checking to see if I've been on the forums is a possibility on your part, so I understand if you need verification.

I feel like I'm in the same position as Fairhaven.

Technically not posting on the Forums means I don't know that anyones watching it.. It's impossible for me to tell. The only way I can tell is if there is just 1 post once in awhile. However really you, Teh_Buster, nobleman, Jason, Alucard, and other obviously active members are granted the "Leway" mentioned in my first post.
In that- I know you will post on something that is benifical to you or the Alliance, Which is exactly why you posted on this topic

All I want to gain from this poll thread is to understand ppl who don't want to post reasons why. Then I can operate things in the alliance far better as I know what page everyone is on and in my decisions I'll make sure to consider each individual members opinion.

Oh and I just got a idea to promote activty. We show have a few more ranks for the people who are quite active on ogame and forums. Since if we do this it will us show how the allianes's higher ups appreciates people who are active. Don't you agree?

Not on that one sorry, This was one of the first topics discussed on day 1 with ELUNE, It might still be in the forum somewhere.. I think it was just we didn't want too many ranks, but there were other good reasons also.

If you need a tool to check activity other than last post, you can go to that member's profile on these boards and then click statistics. It will let you know when they were last online. For example, you are currently online, but teh_buster last appeared on at 3:49am today, my time. I understand if this is a bit slower than running through the forums, but not everyone is in the same sort of position I am.

That's what I meant. (I run a huge online gaming clan, so I had to learn how to do these things on IP Board, and PHP-BB)

Please understand, I'm not trying to criticize. Just trying to find a way to still be in this Alliance without it turning into a job for me.

Personally I do agree on not having the need to post everyday just to show that you're active but I'm pretty sure that most of us have something to share, surely you're able to post/reply at least once a day. Out of all the topics in forum, I'm sure that you're somewhat involved like this for instance without knowing you may have already replied once or twice to only this particular topic.

Posting in the forums is not a job, it's just that show that you're somewhat involved not just by visiting and not sharing your opinions and views. In my opinion it's not neccesary for everyone to post at least once a day but I urge you to do try, and to check on recent activity members using activity tool in forums is obviously a must and a job for us, the council members to worry. So I vote, no to activity check post. Just try to at least post and be active.

Oh, I certainly have, and do, post when it is necessary, I'm just stating that posting will not be a daily event for me, unless I find something pertinent to post daily.

We still do not have full participation on Xfire. 8/how many?

Hmmm, I'd just like to opt to do that run over of members to check statistics and activity, Also can I get the right to remove members? eg. danjoww.
